From May 29 to June 1, at the Hotel Diplomatic, in Torino, Italy will be held MACMAS 2023, the International Conference on Mathematical And Computational Modelling, Approximation and Simulation New trends, recent developments and applications in environment and natural resources.

MACMAS 2023 is the second edition of the International Conference on Mathematical And Computational Modelling, Approximation And Simulation (MACMAS) series. The conference is planned to take place in person, although online presentations are allowed.

Topics planned in the conference include, but are not limited to:

Approximation and modeling applied to environment sciences and natural resources; New applications and developments in approximation methods; Numerical methods for partial differential equations; Numerical methods for nonlinear problems, Mathematical methods in image processing; Optimization methods and applications to natural phenomena; Computational statistics and applications; Mathematics and computation in geosciences; Mathematical analysis of models in porous media; Stochastic partial differential equations.

Gather the researchers interested in the fields of approximation, numerical modelling and their applications in the environment sciences and natural resources; Reinforce the scientific interchange between researchers from different countries, with special emphasis on the Mediterranean basin and neighbourhood; Encourage young researchers to present the results of their scientific works; Promote the scientific research in the field of mathematics applied to environment sciences and natural resources; Enhance the fluidity of scientific interchange between university competences and socio-economic operators; Help new international research projects to arise by facilitating contacts between tentative partners.
