The isomorphism problem for torsion-free abelian group

Abstract. We survey our breakthrough on the problem of determination of the Borel complexity of the isomorphism relation on countable torsion-free abelian groups from [Ann. of Math. (2) 199 (2024), no. 03, 1177-1224]. This is joint work with S. Shelah.
